Released in 1982, Nike AF1 has become one of the world's most recognizable shoes.
In 2022, Sofia Join Forces got together with all sneaker, dance, music, and art lovers and celebrated 40 years of the AF1 legacy. A legacy that wouldn't exist without these communities, which turned AF1 into a symbol for their worlds.
As City Thru Calligraphy we took place in this charming event designing an art instalation of 40 sneakers hung in a circle and painting a big calligraphic canvas. We wrote a blackboard and sprayed a bunch of artistic posters as well.
So we had a great time the whole day!
